2.1 Information you provide

  • Contact messages: your name, email address, and message when you contact me with questions, corrections, or partnership inquiries.
  • Comments: if commenting is enabled on a post, your name and comment content, as handled by the Blogger platform.
  • Newsletter: if a newsletter signup is offered, your email address (and name, if requested).

2.2 Information collected automatically

This Site is hosted on Google's Blogger platform. When you visit, the platform and the services enabled on the Site (including Google Analytics) may collect:

  • Log data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and date and time of visit.
  • Device information such as device type and screen resolution.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 3).
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address (city or region level, not precise location).

Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. I may apply to display advertising, including Google AdSense. This Site is not yet approved for AdSense and does not currently display AdSense ads. If and when advertising is enabled, this section applies:

I share information only in these cases:

  • Service providers: the Blogger platform and Google Analytics (both provided by Google), and any email provider I may use, to operate the Site and understand how it is used.
  • Advertising and affiliate partners: only if and when those services are enabled, as described above.
  • Legal reasons: if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of this Site, its users, or the public.
  • Business transfer: if the Site is sold or transferred, information may transfer with it under this or a similar policy.

I do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing without your consent.

7. Data Retention

Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above:

  • Newsletter data (if used): until you unsubscribe.
  • Contact messages: up to 24 months, unless the law requires longer.
  • Analytics data: kept for the retention period set in my Google Analytics account.

8.1 EEA and UK visitors (GDPR/UK GDPR)

You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

8.2 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

You may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

8.3 Nigeria and other regions

Visitors in Nigeria may have rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Visitors elsewhere may have similar rights. Contact me and I will handle your request under the law that applies.

This Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.

There is no industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals, so the Site does not respond differently to them. You can manage tracking with the tools described in Section 3.

11. Data Security

I use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International Transfers

The Site is hosted by Google, and visitors come from many countries, so information may be processed outside your country. Where required, appropriate safeguards apply.

13. Third-Party Services

Services that collect data through this Site include the Blogger platform (Google) and Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). If I later enable advertising services such as Google AdSense, or affiliate network tracking, this policy will be updated before they are turned on. Each provider has its own privacy policy.

I may update this policy as the Site or the law changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it.
