Affiliate Disclosure

Last Updated: September 29, 2026

Hi, I'm Sandra Robert, the founder and writer at SaaS Software Reviews. This page explains, in plain language, how this site may earn money and what that means for you as a reader. You should always know where information comes from and whether money is involved.

The short version

Some links on this site are, or may become, affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy software, I may earn a commission from the company that makes it. This costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same whether you use my link or go to the company's website directly.

My opinions are my own. No brand, network, or advertiser sees or approves a review before it is published, and no payment changes the rating or conclusion I give a product.

Current status of this site

To be fully transparent:

  • I am not yet approved in any affiliate network. I plan to apply to affiliate programs, such as Impact, FlexOffers, CJ Affiliate, and Awin, and to individual software companies' own programs. I will use affiliate links only where I have been approved, and I will update this page when that happens.
  • This site does not yet display Google AdSense ads. I may apply in future, and this page will be updated if ads are turned on.
  • I have not run any sponsored posts. If I ever do, they will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" or "Partner Post" in the article itself.

How this site may make money

  1. Affiliate commissions, through affiliate networks or directly with individual software companies, once I am approved.
  2. Display advertising, such as Google AdSense, if I am approved.
  3. Occasional sponsored content, clearly labeled and kept separate from my regular editorial reviews.

When a page contains affiliate links, it carries a short disclosure note near the top of the article, in addition to this page.

How I choose what to review

Each product goes through the same basic process:

  • I research the tool's official documentation, pricing pages, and changelog.
  • Where possible, I use a free trial, free plan, or live demo to look at the actual interface.
  • I compare it with direct competitors on pricing, features, ease of use, support, and integrations.
  • I note limitations and downsides honestly, including for tools I may earn commission from.
  • I revisit older articles when a product changes its pricing or features in a significant way.

If I have not personally used a tool, for example in a roundup covering many tools, I say so in the article instead of implying hands-on experience I don't have.

Editorial independence

Being an affiliate for a company does not guarantee it a positive review, a top ranking, or a place on this site. Tools I don't earn commission from can and do outrank tools I do, when I believe they are better for the reader's situation. If I think a product isn't worth your money, I say so.

Why I'm telling you this

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires publishers to clearly disclose material financial connections to the products they write about (see the FTC's Endorsement Guides, 16 CFR Part 255). Beyond the legal requirement, I think it's the right way to run a site people can trust. Where I use affiliate links, I mark them so search engines can identify them as such.

Advertising and cookies

If Google AdSense or other advertising is enabled in future, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage your ad preferences in Google's Ads Settings and read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. More about cookies and data is in the Privacy Policy.

Questions?

If you have a question about a recommendation, a partnership, or this disclosure, email sandraroberts507@gmail.com or use the Contact page. I aim to reply within 2 to 5 business days.

Thanks for reading, and for supporting the site if you use my links.
