This page explains how SaaS Software Reviews works, how it earns money, what you can and cannot rely on in its articles, and how to contact me if something is wrong. It should be read together with the Affiliate Disclosure, Editorial Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.

1. Who publishes this website

SaaS Software Reviews is an independent website written and maintained by me, Sandra Robert. It publishes research-based articles, pricing breakdowns, and comparisons of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products to help people make better buying decisions.

I am not employed by any vendor covered on this site, and no vendor owns or controls it. You can read more on the About page.

2. Affiliate disclosure

This website may contain affiliate links. I am not yet approved in any affiliate network, and articles that currently contain no affiliate links say so. When I add affiliate links after being approved, and you sign up for a tool or buy a plan through one of them, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

  • Commissions do not decide my conclusions. Rankings, pros, cons, and recommendations are based on the research described in each article, not on which vendor pays.
  • Disclosure appears in the article itself. Articles that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure near the top, before the affiliate links appear, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and similar rules elsewhere.
  • Articles without affiliate links say so. Where an article contains no affiliate links, its disclosure states that.
  • Vendors do not pay for or preview my articles. Where this is true of a specific article, it is stated in that article's disclosure.

My current affiliate status is always described on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

3. Advertising disclosure

This site may show third-party advertising, including Google AdSense, in future. It is not yet approved for AdSense and does not currently display AdSense ads. If advertising is enabled, the following applies:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person's previous visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and read more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
  • Ads are separate from editorial content, and advertisers do not review or approve my articles.

More about cookies and data is in the Privacy Policy.

4. How articles are researched

I explain the method inside each article so you do not have to take my word for it. In general:

  1. Pricing comes from vendor sources. Prices, limits, and plan details are taken from vendors' public pricing pages where I can, and otherwise from the linked third-party sources, such as G2, Capterra, and Vendr. Sources are linked so you can verify them.
  2. Original screenshots where possible. When I capture a live vendor page or build a dashboard myself, I say so and date the screenshot. Where I use sample data, I label it as sample data.
  3. Dated content. Articles show a "Last updated" date, which is the date I last checked their figures. SaaS prices change, so treat each article as accurate only as of that date.
  4. Downsides are included. Articles cover where a product costs more than its headline price, where it is a poor fit, and what to check before buying.
  5. Corrections. If I find or am told about an error, I review it and, if it is wrong, fix it and update the date.

An original dashboard I built in Looker Studio with sample data to illustrate a point in an article. It is a sample-data illustration, not a measurement of any vendor's product. Captured September 29.

5. Accuracy of information

SaaS pricing, features, plan limits, and terms change often and without notice. I aim to keep articles accurate, but I cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current at the moment you read it.

  • Figures are accurate to the best of my knowledge on the date shown in each article.
  • Please confirm current pricing and terms on the vendor's official website before you buy.
  • Statistics and studies quoted from third parties are attributed, and I am not responsible for errors in those original sources.

6. Opinions and experience

Articles reflect my research, analysis, and opinions at the time of writing. Your experience may differ depending on your needs, plan, team size, region, and setup. Comparisons and rankings follow the criteria stated in each article and are not scientific or universal measurements.

7. Not professional advice

Content here is for general information and education. It is not legal, financial, tax, security, or compliance advice. Some articles discuss topics such as electronic signatures, data export, payroll, or vendor contracts. These discussions are general and may not apply to your jurisdiction or situation. Please consult a qualified professional before making decisions with legal or financial consequences.

8. No guarantee of results

I do not promise any particular savings, revenue, productivity, or business outcome from any product or advice on this site. Examples are for illustration only.

9. Third-party websites and products

This site links to websites and products I do not own or control. I am not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, pricing, or refund terms. Any purchase or agreement is between you and the vendor, so please read the vendor's terms before you buy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sandra Robert and SaaS Software Reviews are not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this website, reliance on its content, or purchases made through links on it. You use the information here at your own risk.
